The free version is all you need for the Binary Usenet. It expires at Dec.2003 to prevent very old version from floating around. A new free version will be available before the old version expires.
The trial version is only slightly restricted compared to the full version. We just want to make sure that you dont make typical newbie mistakes and affect the operation of the regular users. The trial runs only 30 days. Then it becomes automatically a free version .
The full version offers the maximum possible fun - and a lot of features you dont find in other newsreaders and downloaders. This is the summary of many years on binary Usenet.
The root server version is for small companies who want to run their own news-server. And it is for power-users who want to create their own dynamic P2P News-Network independent from MyNews and its existing root-servers.
